New Mix Online!
My new mix has finally gone online! Click on the button to the left to see the tracklist and download link. For those that would prefer a cd version, for your car or something, then give me a bell and I'll get one to you. Its a summery affair for hot weather only, so we probably won't get to listen to it this year! It features new tracks hot from Miami WMC and quite a few white label productions, which give the mix a nice variety.

Feel free to email me with any feedback! Let me know what you all think :)

Bank Holiday Weekend means only one thing... its time to party! Tonight I am gonna be tearing it up in B-Side in Bristol, a brand new club right in the center of town, less that 100 meters from the Syndicate and Panache. Keep an eye out for it, its the building covered from top to bottom in graffiti! I'll be there 8pm till late alongside Olly Whittall and Chris Bibby.
I've had another busy weekend, playing in Delfter Krug on Thursday and Friday night to those lucky bastards that have finished their exams! Next week catch me playing the Second Bridge on Thursday followed by Parade Bar on Friday for the last night of the year!!

On Friday I am DJing the Parade Bar at Bath Uni once again... you can expect a set of fine house music, played exclusively from vinyl, like the good old days :) Then on Saturday I'll be back at Sol! at the Ha! Ha! Bar in Bath, where I'll be playing fresh soulful and deep house with maybe a couple of classics thrown in for good measure.

27/4/08

Wow it has certainly been a busy couple of weeks! Last weekend - bank holiday - was huge, I played Thursday, Friday and Saturday night and then headed over to Bristol to see Joey Negro playing at New City Sound's 2nd birthday... what can I say he rocked it over there! The floor was packed out all night and he dropped some amazing tunes, classic and new.
I have got a few days off now, but I'll be back in Rehab @ Delfter Krug on the 10th of April, followed by Liquid Funk on the Friday night, also in DK. For more info please visit http://www.delfterkrug.com/.

This week I am gonna be playing at the last ever Luvin It free party in Delfter Krug. Doors open at 10pm and remember, it's free all night! Last thursday with the Shapeshifters was an amazing night and it was a pleasure to hear such great DJs playing amazing tunes!
I am currently working on a new mix cd and should have it up on here in a couple of weeks. Keep an eye out for that!

19/02/08
I am extremely happy to announce The Shapeshifters will be joining us at Sex On The Beat this Thursday! Its been several weeks of hard work but we are getting ready to get down to the sounds of the Shapeshifters!
Also this week I am having my debut on Saturday night at Sol in Ha! Ha! Bar. I was chosen to be one of the new residents and I'm really looking forward to it! I'll be there 9pm till midnight please come along and give your support to the house scene in Bath.

This week you can find me DJing in Delfter Krug on Friday (tonight!) and Elements at Bath Uni on Saturday night. Saturday promises to be an interesting event due to the various live electro acts that will be appearing.
I'll be supporting the upcoming electro/industrial acts: I Am The Mighty Jungulator and Vexkiddy. If you are looking for some experimental DJ and VJing you should definitely make a trip to Elements. Bath students pay only £3.
More good news! I am now going to be one of the monthly residents at Sol, a very successful night, which recently celebrated their 2nd birthday. Sol has been smoldering away for two years under the master skills of Jake Gabai, iDJ's Raw Talent competition winner. Soulful, deep and funky is the name of the game and my first appearance will be the last Saturday in February, the 23rd.

28/01/08
This week I am playing in The SECOND Bridge for Sex On The Beat! I'm so excited, its been over two months since our last sell out event and I'm sure everyone is itching to get out once again and hear the most upfront electro, tech and prog house to grace the streets of Bath! Olly Whittall and myself will be kicking things off before handing over to the Sex On The Beat champions all the way from Oxford. (Doors: 9:30pm - 3am)
On Friday night I'll be up in the Parade Bar playing funky house and current R&B and Hip Hop to the students on campus. I'm there 9pm till 2am.
15/1/08
This thursday I'll be DJing for Luvin It @ Delfter Krug. I'll be there all night upstairs playing house, electro and breaks. For all BBA's this is a chance for a cheap night off the revision! Delfter Krug are having their January sales, with prices like this:

Happy New Year!!
The last couple of weeks have been a great chance for me to relax and unwind. I've spent the time hunting down some rare gems of tracks on eBay and digging out some brand spanking new ones too. When I come back I'll be getting stuck into Sex On The Beat on Thursdays in 2nd Bridge, look out for flyers around town and campus.
10/12/07
This week I am DJing on Wednesday and Thursday; Wednesday I'll be up in Parade Bar from 9pm and Thursday sees me back at the 2nd Bridge for Sex on The Beat - Nightmare Before Christmas! They both promise to be massive nights since the end of term this week!
I have put my new chart up which has some wicked tunes on there, not all brand new, but doing the damage!
20/11/07
Another busy couple of weeks for me... Motion on the 3rd of November was amazing as always, the crowd were so up for it and had to be forced out of the doors at 6am! Chris Nicholls warmed up nicely with some techy minimal tunes then I took over at midnight, caning out the dirty electro. Jonny Grigg followed with his tech and electro tunes and Ollie De Boer absolutely destroyed the place with his breaks, hard house and techno!
This week I am DJing in Blue Rooms on Wednesday, then the Second Bridge on Thursday! Sex on the Beat is a new night opening in Second Bridge. It's already a major success in Oxford and London, and I'll be playing alongside the current residents and Olly Whittall. You can expect house and electro, with breaks and funk in the back rooms.
I've been pretty busy with coursework recently, but I'll have a new chart up in a week or so and I'm working on a new mix. I have got some wicked photos to put up, please check back here soon!

Massive tunes coming from Micky Slim, Jesse Garcia, Larry Tee, Felix Da Housecat and many more! It's a pumping cd that starts quite innocently and degrades into absolute filth!
Access the mix from the mixes page --> click here

The end to a very busy week and weekend! Parade Bar has seen me three times, with gigs on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday! Friday night I was playing in Delfter Krug, for the new night; Liquid Funk. Only two weeks old and already packing out the club... I played a mix of house, hip hop and R&B.
I am finally putting the finishing touches on my latest mix, featuring hot tracks from Larry Tee, Micky Slim and more. Keep checking this site for updates, it'll be online before the end of the week! I have also added a few more photos into the September 2007 Album, take a look at the pics in there!

On Saturday 13th I'll be playing in the Blue Rooms, to the exclusive customers down there and the next Thursday (18th) I'll be DJing at the DV80s party in Blue Rooms, playing only the best 80s hits! Another date to keep free in your diary is the 3rd of November, the date of the next party @ Motion in Bristol, at which I'll be playing 12am - 2am.

Hi everyone, this month I am lucky enough to be featured in DV8 magazine, a local publication aimed at 18 to 35 year olds. I am their DJ of the month and there is a short interview in there too! DV8 is free and is available in most pubs, bars, hairdressers and clothes shops in Bath. Please pick up a copy and have a read! You can see the DV8 website by clicking on -> www.dv8bath.co.uk
As you read this I am preparing to start back at Bath uni. I shall be doing a business degree this year, and will be DJing regularly on campus. I have been asked to play every other Wednesday in the Parade Bar, as well as the return of the Friday Lounge!
This weekend is going to be really busy for me! I'm playing every night... Friday in Delfter Krug, Bath. Saturday in Motion, Bristol, and Sunday up in Elements at Bath Uni for the very first night of freshers week! Thank god I have Monday off!
8/09/07
Wow, so much has happened since my last update! So Bank Holiday Sunday is now 2 weeks ago and I'm finally getting around to writing about it. I started off my busy weekend with a set of beautiful soulful house for Jake Gabai at his Solful Sunday in Ha! Ha! Bar, which was awesome. I rarely get to play house like that and I really enjoyed it. I also met the two headliners Phil Evans and Sean McCabe, who rocked it later on with classic soulful tunes. Then after my set I moved on to Blue Rooms to set up for the Luvin It party down there. There was a really nice crowd there and it was definitely a good night for Blue Rooms! I warmed up with some commercial hip hop before moving into breaksy tunes and then rockin the dancefloor with proper house music! Then I played in Delfter Krug on Thursday and Friday last week.
This weekend I am DJing in Opa, a new bar in Bath. I'll be playing lounge music and funky house from 10:30pm till 2am.
22/08/07
Bank Holiday Sunday is promising to be a big night! Luvin It is throwing a free party in Revolution and Blue Rooms! With free entry to both venues all night there is no excuse not to come along. From 4pm till 4am take advantage of loads of drink offers and get down to Baths best DJs, Tom Maddicott, Graham S, Jake Gabai and myself! I'll be DJing in Blue Rooms from 10pm till 1am, playing housey breaksy fun tunes.

Sol is also having a big night, celebrating their 2nd birthday in Ha! Ha! Bar. There is a BBQ from 3pm till 7pm, when music starts with myself providing a dose of soulful house till 8pm. Resident and promoter Jake Gabai then takes over before handing over to his headliners Sean McCabe (The BBN, Melodious Recs) and Phil Evans (Southern Divide).

I hope to see some of you down at both these events to give real music some proper support!
18/08/07
New chart online, click here to see. There are some huge tunes on there!!
10/08/07
I have just been asked to play in Revolution tomorrow (Saturday) night! Hope to see some of down there, if anyone does wanna come and say hi, that'd be much appreciated, I'll give you a free cd! You can expect a range of house music, from soulful to funky and electro.
09/08/07
Sorry for the late update everyone. So... two weeks ago I played at Chapel etc in Corsham. It was quite a quiet event, but I eventually gave in and played them some commercial cheesy house. A whitelabel remix of Billie Jean really doing the damage!
This week I am going to be playing for Good Vibrations @ Delfter Krug on Friday night. I'll be playing either the whole night, or just the headline set. Last time I was there I played it a little too commercial and this time I'm gonna take the chance to play some upfront electro and more underground house.
Thursday 16th sees me DJing for Luvin It @ Delfter Krug. I'll be playing the whole night (10pm - 2:30am), and you can expect a big mix of everything...house, breaks and electro! I've been buying a lot of this recently with no venue to play it, so it'll be mental!!
The Bank Holiday weekend is shaping up to be a big one, I'll be warming up for Jake Gabai (www.jakegabai.co.uk) at Sol's 2nd birthday, Solful Sunday from 7pm till 8pm. Facebook group here -> click. Then I'll be heading to Blue Rooms for 10pm till 1am to play at the Luvin It party! More info to follow, but if you are on facebook, then check it out here.
27/07/07
So there was a little bit of a change of plan last week! At the last minute I was called to play in Blue Rooms in Bath, rather than at Motion in Bristol. Needless to say that after my set I headed over to Motion to see how everything was going, and eventually got to bed at 7am! Sorry to disappoint any of my friends that went over to see me play, I'll make it up to you!
This weekend I am DJing in Bath and Corsham. Friday night (tonight!) sees me warming up @ Good Vibrations in Delfter Krug, 10pm till 12am. Its the end of the month (payday) so if you plan on coming along then please arrive early to avoid disappointment! I'll be playing some soulful tunes before handing over to La Frizzla for the rest of the evening.
Then on Saturday I'll be going out to play at a Luvin' It event in nearby Corsham. The venue is a renovated church in the centre of town and I'll be on the balcony overlooking the crowd! Its a long set; 8pm till 2am, but you can expect purely house all night!

New Mix Online!
So my latest promotional mix is now available for downloading on the "mixes" page of my site. Please click here to view the tracklisting and download it. Featuring tracks from Mood II Swing, Bongoloverz and Ce Ce Peniston, it moves from soulful house to latin and finishes all funky!
I am not playing out as much as I was during the university term time, so I am using the time to hone my skills and also get my name out into Bath. I have been booked to play the headline set in Delfter Krug on Friday 6th July from 12:30am till 3:00am, which is gonna be rockin! If you know me, or just love house music, make sure you come and show your support for Bath Uni's most successful DJ!
Keep dancing! Olly
10/06/07
I'm gonna be taking a few weeks well earned rest after the busy end of term! Last Friday I played a nine hour set in Parade Bar, which nearly killed me! Then on Saturday I was playing in the VIP Lounge at Bath University's Summer Ball. Last night I played the warm up for Shakedown in Delfter Krug, which was awesome. The up-for-it crowd was loving my dirty hip hop!
So I'm now going on holiday for a while, to Italy, which should be wicked, and then when I come back I'll be terrorizing the dancefloors in Bath once more!
Keep dancing! Olly
23/05/07
Hi everyone, this weekend coming up is going to be pretty busy for me. On Thursday I shall be playing a short set in the bar at Luvin It in Delfter Krug in Bath. Jake Gabai is playing up in the main room all night. On Friday I shall be playing the Friday Lounge in Parade Bar. Finally on Sunday I shall be playing for 4 hours in Bonghy-Bo, for We Love Sundays.
Pics shall be put up asap and look out for a brand new mix coming soon!!!
13/05/07
Wow, I have had such an amazing week! Thursday night was incredible; I played in Delfter Krug in Bath in the main room. It was such a blast and the crowd absolutely went for it! I played upfront electro house and some breaks, as well as a couple of classic tracks like Higher State Of Consciousness and Ripgroove by Double 99! You can see photos of the gig in the gallery, here. I think the highlight of the gig was when I played Rene Amesz's and Peter Gelderblom's remix of Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way, the dancefloor was rammed and everyone was singing along with the chorus!
In other news I have also been asked to play at the next We Love Sundays, a long running house night in Bath. We Love Sundays runs every Bank Holiday weekend, and the next is coming up at the end of this month, 27th May. I shall be playing soulful house at the pre-party in Bonghy-Bo (2-3 Barton Court, Upper Borough Walls) from 7pm till 11pm. Then the party continues in Ponana till 3am with Jamie Tack and Jamie Fry.
09/05/07
Hi everyone! Well this is an exciting week for me since I am going to be DJing in Delfter Krug in Bath city center on Thursday night. I will be playing in the main room all night, from 10pm till 2:30am. I'm going to be playing house and breaks, as well as some exclusive remixes and party tunes (think a breaks remix of "Hip Hop" by Dead Prez!). It promises to be a massive night since it is free entry all night!!
The evening is hosted by Luvin' It, which you can find out more about here or on myspace here.
You can also see me in the Parade Bar on Friday. Since my good friend Olly Whittall is going to be absent I shall be staying on after the Friday Lounge and playing all night! See me from 5pm till 2am!!! I am definitely going to be knackered after that!
29/04/07
I had another busy week this week, playing on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday! On Wednesday I was in the Parade Bar playing party anthems and current chart hits. It was quieter than normal due to the football, but we still had a busy dancefloor thanks to some sexy R&B and several drunk girls!
Thursday was a massive opportunity for me, since I was playing at an open decks night in Delfter Krug, the most stylish club in Bath. The night was a free entry entry party hosted by Luvin It with open decks downstairs in the bar, and a proper party upstairs.
My set was only 45 minutes and yet I crammed in classic and new tracks by Bodyrox, Basement Jaxx, Fatboy Slim, Mylo, Richard Grey, Micky Slim and Armand Van Helden. My set was so successful that the promoter has asked me to play upstairs all night for the next one!
So, on Thursday 10th May, make your way to Delfter Krug in Bath, for a night of debauchery with me, Olly King on the decks all night!
On Friday I was at the Friday Lounge in the Parade Bar, where I played an incredible set of deep, soulful and funky house tunes leading up to Olly Whittall at 9pm.
This week catch me at Parade Bar on Wednesday @ 9pm, and then at the Friday Lounge @ 5pm.
26/04/07

Well, after a quiet Easter I have come back down to Earth with a bang! Tuesday night saw me DJing at a charity auction held in The Lounge, Bath. All proceeds went to an extremely worthwhile cause: Cardiac Risk in the Young, which is trying to raise awareness of Sudden Cardiac Death or Sudden Death Syndrome, particularly in healthy people. Over £1000 was raised, with an Argentina football shirt signed by Maradona selling for almost half of the total! I played funky breaks and funk and moved into chilled house for the remainder of the evening.
Last night (Wednesday) I was back up in the Parade Bar spinning from 9pm with the latest chart stuff, hip hop, and house. I played a few classics like "Wildchild - Renegade Master", "Strike - U Sure Do" and a wicked remix of "Billie Jean" which all went down a treat! You can catch me there next Wednesday from 9pm till late. Also make sure you come along to The Friday Lounge from 5pm till 9pm in the Parade Bar. I'll be playing chilled and groovy tunes before handing over to Olly Whittall to take you through the evening.
Saturday night sees another very special event coming to Elements Nightclub. Fuse, brought to you by Andrew Macpherson is new night featuring 5 DJs playing house, breaks and drum & bass. I'll be warming up the crowd with some soulful house, then Chris Nicholls brings up the breaks front, followed by Will Evans, Sean Diamond and Andrew Macpherson playing D&B.

Hello and welcome to my personal website, where you can find pictures, music and other things to do with djing.
Just added today is my brand new mixtape! Please check it out here! This mix is much more of a party tape than my last one and is ideal for rocking out to at home with mates or in the car! Featuring classic old skool tunes such as "Dreamer" by Livin' Joy, and "Let Me Be Your Fantasy" by Baby D alongside newer tracks by Francesco Diaz, Sharooz and Solu Music, this is one wicked compilation!
For those that know me, we are currently planning a massive party down in Eastbourne sometime this July/August. To be hosted at a secret location that has a swiming pool in the garden ;-) So I am lucky enough to be DJing for that, and I will make sure that I bring enough Westwood cds to play in the breaks!
23/06/06
Well I am now safely back at home, enjoying my summer holidays! I am working in The Smithy Inn in Holme, and I have also dropped mix cds into The Lounge and Hustle. So hopefully if they like it, I might get some dj work over the summer.
The last week of term was a blast! Olly and I played the Friday night in Parade to a small crowd. There were still exams to revise for, and so it emptied out by about 12:30, so I dropped some deep house which was amazing! I have wanted to play some of those tunes loud for ages and never had the opportunity. The remaining customers loved it and we had a couple of guys dancing around in the bar! Then over the next week I did my last two exams and we planned the Summer Ball gig.
As Saturday rolled up Olly and I had got our set up planned and we had been instructed what music to play; cheese all night :-( Anyway, we were set up in good time, and had our special passes to get inside the arena! Everything went down well, we started with a little funky house and moved into some urban stuff. The dance floor really filled up when Olly dropped some classic Queen! Olly and I worked it well for the next couple of hours when I left to see The Cut Up Boys, who were pretty good, although I expected more from them.
I shall post some pics of the summer ball set up here soon, so stay tuned and watch out for me in a venue around Lancaster soon.
